Terms, Conditions, Guarantee of Sale of Great Dane Puppy (contract)

Your Weeping Willow Great Dane Puppy is being sold to you in excellent health as confirmed by a licensed Veterinarian and has had at least one set of shots. It is the buyer’s option to have the pup checked within 3 days of receiving the animal to confirm excellent health. Shot record will be delivered with the pup.

Buyer has agreed to follow the feeding guidelines that the seller has given, which is keeping the protein level 23% or lower for the first 18 months of life, and not above 25% for the remaining life of the dog unless otherwise instructed by your veterinarian. Failure to do so renders this contract null and void.

 All Weeping Willow Gr8 Danes sold as pet quality will have been spayed/neutered before the age of 8 months. These Danes will not be bred for any reason. AKC papers will be sent upon receipt of spayed/neuter. If this is not done, Weeping Willow Gr8 Danes has the right to repossess the puppy at no cost to the described kennel.

The seller warranties the pup against genetic heart and hip disease until the pup's 2^nd birthday. If the pup is diagnosed with either condition, a letter must be sent from a licensed Veterinarian. No refunds will be given except in for items stated in paragraph # 1.

Our Guarantee does not cover hip dysplasia or disorders caused by incorrect feeding. This is why the protein levels MUST be kept at 23% or lower. Disorders include HOD and pano.

If the pup should die before its 2^nd birthday, an autopsy must be performed to state that the pup died of heart related complications. If there is no record or report, no replacement pup shall be given.

If it should become necessary for the buyer to surrender the puppy/dog for any reason, at any age, the buyer shall return the Dane to Weeping Willow Gr8 Danes. Under no circumstances is the said puppy/dog to be sold, given, and placed in rescue, humane societies or transferred to anyone not party to this contract. The said puppy/Dog will be returned to Weeping Willow Gr8 Danes with no cost to the breeder and no refund to the buyer.

 This said Great Dane will carry the Weeping Willow name on AKC registration papers. If at any time, Terri L. Apt is notified of a rescue or lost Dane, She will contact the owner before assuming the Dane was surrendered.

The seller states that the pup sold is a happy and well adjusted pup. Temperament is not guaranteed. It is up to the new owner to socialize and train the puppy. We handle our puppies from birth and beyond to ensure that they receive the correct amount of love and attention. The buyer must carry out this job and take the pup in to their family and treat it as one of their own children.

If for any reason this contract matter must be settled in the Court of Law, the buyer is responsible for all costs and attorney fees on all parties involved. If for any reason this contract is broken, buyer agrees to pay $10,000.00 to Terri Apt (Weeping Willow Gr8 Danes)

Terms and conditions of this contract, if broken, Weeping Willow Gr8 Danes has the right to repossess the Dane from the buyers home at no cost to our Kennel and buyer will sign AKC paper over to Weeping Willow Gr8 Danes.

The buyer agrees to

Provide a humane and healthy environment INSIDE your home.

Provide training classes to obtain a controllable Dane.

Provide heartworm preventative medications for its lifetime.

Provide inoculations given during its lifetime.          

Provide a licensed veterinarian at any time a situation arises during its lifetime.

Provide a good quality dog food. No more than 23% protein unless directed by a licensed veterinarian.

NOT TO ABUSE OR NEGLECT THIS DANE. If so, Weeping Willow Gr8 Danes has the right to repossess this Dane at any time and buyer will sign over AKC papers to Weeping Willow GR8 Dane.

By signing below, both parties acknowledge that they have read, understand and agree to all the terms of this contract and will abide by it fully.
